About the race
Deer Dash 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run returns for its 28th year in Monticello, Georgia. The event includes a chipped 5K Run/Walk (3.1 miles) winding through town and a 1-Mile Fun Run on Eatonton Street. The 5K course is USATF-certified GA19017DJ, with a traditional start/finish at 119 West Washington Street.
The race is part of the Black Bag Race Series, with finish-line timing provided by Classic Race Services. Special features include a Phantom Runner option, overall and age-group awards, and T-shirts for early registrants (with a no-shirt option at a discount).
