DeLeon Dash 5K : event overview
The DeLeon Dash 5K takes place on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at DeLeon Springs State Park, 601 Ponce De Leon Blvd., De Leon Springs, FL 32130. The event benefits Friends of DeLeon Springs State Park. Events offered:
- 5K Run and Walk
- Virtual 5K
Online pre-registration is open through November 7, 2025. Registration is capped at 250 entries and is final; there are no refunds. Entry fee tiers are: $30 (Feb 7–Jun 30), $40 (Jul 1–Sep 30), and $45 (Oct 1–Nov 8). Virtual and in-person entries list a $45 price in event details. Pets are not allowed.
Course, services and amenities
The course runs inside and around the state park and uses sidewalks, paved roads, dirt roads, and unpaved trails. The race will be professionally chip timed using disposable electronic tags attached to the bib; bibs should be worn on the front and pinned at all four corners. Water stops with cups will be placed on course and at the finish line. Post-race refreshments include healthy snacks and complimentary mini pancakes from the Old Sugar Mill Pancake House.
Additional race features include a T-shirt, finisher's medal, custom age-group and overall awards, searchable online results, downloadable photos, and RaceJoy for live phone tracking and GPS progress alerts.
