The DENFIT Winter Soldier takes place on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Cape Vincent Recreation Park, 602 S James St, Cape Vincent, NY 13618. The event offers the following distances:
- 10k: single lap, slightly modified route
- Half Marathon: two laps
- Full Marathon: four laps
Entry fees listed at the time of posting were $52 for the 10k, $67.45 for the half marathon, and $82.90 for the full marathon. The full marathon is limited to 100 runners and total event participation is capped at 200.
Course, facilities and rules
The course is described as a flat out-and-back between the recreation park and Tibbetts Point Lighthouse. The lighthouse turnaround will have a sheltered aid station with water, food, and toilet facilities. Runners will have access to hot shower facilities and indoor space at the recreation park; light refreshments will be available inside. Outside amenities include a fire, music, and a "Quick Drop Tent" near the start line for gear exchange.
Parking is free and a short walk to the event area; organizers request a small donation to a local non-profit. Runners are required to carry a safety light or strobe in case of whiteout conditions and are advised to carry personal hydration.
