Event details
Devil's Gulch takes place Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Mission Ridge near Wenatchee, WA (7500 Mission Ridge Rd). The event is organized by Evergreen Trail Runs. Registration opens October 1, 2025. The organizer does not issue refunds; entries may be deferred, transferred, or switched to another event for a fee, with requests required before the Friday of race week (i.e., before Thursday at 11:59pm). Volunteers may receive a free or discounted race entry. Top three finishers in all gender categories receive prizes.
Courses and awards
The event offers the following distances:
- 100 Miler
- 50 Miler
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- Kids race
The courses run on single track and some forest service road through Ponderosa pine forests and high ridgelines with views of the Cascades. Terrain includes rocky, steep, technical sections and smoother flowing trails, plus gulches, rock hoodoos, and ridge runs like Tronsen Ridge. The 100 Miler is a roughly 100-mile loop including Mission Peak and Mt. Lillian, Horse Lake Mountain, and Number 2 Canyon, with over 20,000 feet of elevation gain and a 39-hour cutoff. The 50 Miler follows a shorter loop with about 11,000 feet of gain. The half marathon is a single loop starting and ending at the ski resort with about 2,500 feet of gain. Finishers receive a shirt and food and beverages at the finish; 100-mile finishers also receive a belt buckle and 50-mile finishers receive a hand-crafted award.
