DFW Burning Soles Trail Series
The DFW Burning Soles Trail Series is a summer trail running event held in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, featuring 5K and 10K races over eight weeks from June through August. The series alternates between two scenic locations: Northshore Trail in Flower Mound and Erwin Park in McKinney, Texas. The courses showcase some of North Texas's best singletrack trails, with well-marked routes and a lively finish line atmosphere.
Races are chip-timed, with a mass start for each distance and staggered start times to space runners. Awards are given weekly by age and gender categories, with final series awards recognizing top performers. The event supports local trail maintenance efforts by DORBA.
