DFW HBCU Alumni 5K

The 7th Annual DFW HBCU Alumni 5K, themed "Legacy in Motion," takes place at The Epic in Grand Prairie, Texas. This community-focused event celebrates HBCU pride while promoting health and wellness. The 5K course features a scenic loop around two man-made lakes, with a mix of flat terrain and three gradual hills, suitable for runners and walkers of all levels.

Participants enjoy a lively atmosphere with a DJ, spirited competition, and a vendor marketplace offering health, wellness, and HBCU-related merchandise. The event also includes an Alumni Connection Zone for fellowship among local alumni associations. Proceeds support the DFW HBCU Alumni Heritage Scholarship.
