Dirty Dozen Run
The Dirty Dozen Run is an annual trail running event held at Point Pinole Regional Shoreline in Richmond, California. It features 12-hour, 6-hour, and 3-hour endurance races on a scenic 3.37-mile loop composed mostly of dirt fire trails. The course offers expansive shoreline views, including multiple bridges and mountains, and passes through fragrant eucalyptus groves.
Participants can run solo or in teams of two or three, with no pressure on finishing times—anyone completing at least one lap is a finisher. The event fosters a festive atmosphere with an all-day BBQ picnic, support stations, and a welcoming environment for runners, walkers, and hikers alike. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
