The Dirty Grass Soul Rockin’ and Running 5k is scheduled for July 4, 2026 in Fallston, NC (PO Box 39 / 112 Gary St, Fallston 28042). The event includes the following distances:

Course, awards and purpose
The course begins and finishes at Fallston Elementary School and follows a loop that includes NC Hwy 18, Charolais Dr., Fallston-Waco Rd., NC 182 (Stage Coach Trail) and Boggs Dr. Packet pickup is scheduled on June 27 and June 28 at Fallston Elementary School.
Awards include 1st place overall male and female, and 1st through 3rd place in each age group (male and female). All finishers receive a medal. The event is organized as a fundraiser: 100% of event proceeds are directed to funding music education programs in Cleveland County schools through the Cleveland County Schools Education Foundation (memo: Dirty Grass Soul Music & Arts Fund).
