Dowackado Trail Runs & Gravel Rides

The DoWackaDo Trail Runs & Gravel Rides take place at Sandy Sanders Wildlife Management Area near Erick, Oklahoma. The event features multiple trail run distances including 5, 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50 miles, with courses consisting of loops on graded ranch roads through 220-foot canyonlands. Aid stations are spaced every 3-4 miles, providing water, snacks, and Gatorade.

The gravel rides occur the following day, offering 20, 40, and 60-mile routes on scenic country roads with rolling hills and mixed surfaces. Both events provide finisher medals, awards for top finishers, and guaranteed T-shirts for early registrants. Primitive camping and basic facilities are available at the race headquarters.
