Dragons in the Woods

Dragons in the Woods is a 5K trail run/walk held annually at Birchfield Park in Holt, Michigan. Celebrating its 12th season in 2025, this challenging race offers a scenic course through majestic wooded trails, suitable for both seasoned runners and families who want to walk or run together. The event supports Island City Academy, a charter school in Eaton Rapids.

Participants can compete for trophies and age-group awards, with categories for all ages including masters 40 and up. The race is professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation, and features group pricing, race shirts, and digital race photos. Proceeds benefit local education.
