Event overview
DRC's The Half is the 50th annual running event organized by the Dallas Running Club. It takes place on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at Norbuck Park, 200 N Buckner Blvd, Dallas, TX 75218. The event is centered on White Rock Lake and includes multiple distance options:
- 13.1 miles (Half Marathon)
- 10K Run/Walk
- 5K Run/Walk
The half marathons support a scholarship fund that provides assistance to graduating students with active participation in their school cross-country programs. The event is run by a volunteer club and benefits the Dallas running community.
Logistics and entry
Listed entry fees on the race page are: Half Marathon $85, 10K $65, 5K $45; fees increase after October 25, 2025. Packet pick-up locations include Luke's Locker (3046 Mockingbird Ln, Dallas) and Norbuck Park on race day. Registration includes a long sleeve participant shirt and a finisher's medal. Age group awards are in 10-year increments and placement awards must be collected in person. There is a no refund policy; entries may be transferred to another person. Additional notes: bag check is available on race day, no dogs are allowed on the course, strollers are permitted with restrictions, and race site parking is limited with alternative parking and transit options suggested.
