About the race
Drop13 Big Cottonwood Canyon is a downhill half marathon event held in Holladay, Utah, with a course that starts at Solitude Ski Resort and descends about 3,000 feet over 13.1 miles to Cottonwood Heights. The event also offers a Half Marathon VIP Racer, a Half Marathon Slow Racers division, plus a 5K and a virtual option. It’s touted as Utah’s fastest half marathon, and the canyon setting provides spectacular views of spring runoff, river rapids, and lush greenery.
