About the race
The Drumstick Dash Thanksgiving Day Events take place at Lake Harriet in Minneapolis, Minnesota, offering a family-friendly atmosphere with multiple race options. The main event is the Drumstick Dash 10K, a USATF Certified course featuring two laps around Lake Harriet with some hills, chip timed for accuracy. For a shorter challenge, the Pi Run covers one lap (3.14 miles) of the same course.
Additional fun runs include the Cranberry Cruise One Mile, which allows strollers, and the Cranberry Kids Half Mile, a flat, easy course for children. Participants can choose from no shirt, long sleeve shirt, or sweatshirt options, and post-race cookies add to the festive Thanksgiving spirit.
