Dryden Ugly Sweater 5K

Dryden Ugly Sweater 5K is a festive running event held in Dryden, New York (13053). In its 6th year, it offers in-person races in two team themes—Team Santa and Team Grinch—plus virtual options. The course starts near Montgomery Park behind the historic Dryden Hotel and mostly follows the Dryden Rail Trail: the first half-mile on pavement, then a wide, flat, grass-and-gravel trail with a gentle 35-foot elevation gain.

All participants receive a custom Ugly Sweater 5K stocking and a finisher medal. Post-race celebrations at the Dryden Hotel include warm treats and beer specials, with an Ugly Sweater contest for Best, Most Creative, and Funniest outfits.
