Eastern Legend
The Eastern Legend is a challenging night trail running event held on a private ranch in Gilmer, Texas, featuring distances of 5K, 10K, 13.1 miles, 26 miles, 50K, and a 10K ruck. Originally set in Mission Tejas State Park, the race was relocated due to construction but maintains similar wooded, hilly, and rooty terrain with creek crossings. Participants enjoy aid stations every three miles, collectible finisher medals, and the option to camp onsite. The event is part of the Texas Summer Night Series. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
