About the race
The Eastside Turkey Trot 5K is held at the Eastern Community YMCA in Oregon, Ohio. It features a fast 5K road course starting and finishing at the YMCA, with a water station along city streets. Participants can choose a traditional 5K Run/Walk or a 5K Virtual option.
Awards include overall and age-group prizes, plus Turkey prizes for the first male and female to reach the one‑mile mark, and multiple costume contests (Best Overall Costume, Best Turkey Look‑Alike, Race Director’s Choice). Pre‑registered runners receive a long‑sleeve triblend shirt and a shoe‑discount coupon; refreshments and an awards ceremony are provided.
