The Eastside Turkey Trot 5K takes place on November 27, 2025, at the Eastern Community YMCA, 2960 Pickle Rd., Oregon, OH 43616. It offers the following events:
- 5K (Run/Walk)
- 1K Kids Run (12 & under)
- 5K Virtual
The 5K course starts and finishes at the YMCA and runs on city streets. The course includes one water station.
Registration, logistics and awards
Pre-registration by November 16, 2025, includes a long sleeve triblend shirt and a $10 shoe discount coupon while supplies last. The 5K pre-registration fee is $24; late and day-of registration is $30. The 1K Kids Run is free with an option to add a shirt for $13. Early packet pick-up and late registration are available at Second Sole on November 25 and 26 during store hours; race-day packet pick-up is offered at the YMCA. Timing is by disposable bib chips with online scoring.
Parking at the YMCA is limited; additional free parking with complimentary shuttles is available at Cardinal Stritch High School. Awards include overall male/female and masters gift certificates, deep age-group awards, a costume contest, and turkeys for the first male and female to reach the one-mile mark who finish the race. The walk is non-competitive. Fruit, baked goods, sports drink, and an award ceremony are provided. Dogs must be leashed and cleaned up after; headphones are allowed with attention to course safety.
