Echo Park Lotus Run : event overview
The Echo Park Lotus Run is a 5K run/walk held on Sunday, July 12, 2026, at Echo Park, 751 Echo Park Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90026. The event offers two registration options: a standard 5K entry that includes a commemorative premium T-shirt, a die cast finisher medallion, a commemorative bib and access to the refresh zone, and a 5K entry without a shirt. Registration is limited to the first 1,000 participants. The race is chip timed and takes place on the final day of the Lotus Festival.
Logistics and course details
The course uses roads inside and along the perimeter of Echo Park, with partial street closures on Park and Echo Park Avenue. Water is available at two points on course: the halfway mark and the start/finish area. A roving first aid team will cover the main portion of the 5K, and a first aid station is located in the main expo area. Packet pick up is provided the evening before and on race morning at Echo Park. Parking and shuttle arrangements are handled by Lotus Festival partners. Registration closes 15 minutes before the race start and there are no refunds; late arrivals may run but will not receive official results.
