Event details
Echo Valley takes place May 30-31, 2026 at 1700 Cooper Gulch Road, Chelan, Washington. The event offers the following races:
- 1-mile kids race
- 10K
- Half-marathon
- 50K (Saturday only)
Online registration closes the Thursday before the race at noon. A multi-race discount applies when one person registers for two adult races in a single transaction - a 15% discount on the most expensive race. Participants 24 and under receive a 20% youth discount. Packet pick-up is available at a nearby winery the day before the event. Post-race food includes pulled pork sandwiches or veggie burgers. Finishers receive handmade finisher swag produced with solar power.
Course and logistics
All distances are single-loop trail courses starting from the base of Echo Valley ski area. Trails are described as smooth and winding with long, gentle climbs and descents, single-track through ponderosa pine forest, and views toward Lake Chelan with fields of lupine and balsam root. Elevation gain: 10K 1,200 ft, Half 2,000 ft, 50K 3,900 ft.
Aid stations are located as follows:
- 10K: mile 3.5
- Half: miles 5.4, 10.5
- 50K: miles 6.5, 8.5, 10, 13, 22.7, 26.5
The race is cupless - all runners must carry a refillable container and are encouraged to carry at least 20 oz of water. The trails remain open to other users during the event. 50K runners may drop bags to be transported to the Yurt Aid Station. Camping is available at Echo Valley Ski Area; fees are $25 per tent and $50 per RV per night, with size and space limits. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
