Event overview
The eKids 5K takes place on March 7, 2026, in Fate, Texas, at Rober Smith Family Park (1220 CD Boren Pkwy.). The event is produced by Run Different in partnership with eKids. The event program includes the following options:
- Kid's Dash
- 5K
- 1 Mile
- Virtual Option
The virtual option includes shipping of the event shirt and medal during the week of the race. The 1 Mile is an untimed option. The Kid's Dash is a short 100-200 meter sprint and is offered free of charge.
Participant information
Registration includes an event-themed participation t-shirt (5K and 1 Mile only) and a 6-inch finisher medal (5K and 1 Mile only). Registrants who want a guaranteed t-shirt size should register by February 21. The 5K is eligible for age group awards. Age group awards are given four deep in male and female divisions from 0-4 up to 80+. Overall awards include overall male and female, masters (40+), and grand masters (60+). Awards are distributed at the event and will not be shipped. Volunteers may earn a free race code as a thank-you. Prices listed by the organizer apply to each event.
