Features and logistics
The 8K and 5K are chip timed with live-streamed results and awards. The course is paved and includes waterfront areas with views of Philadelphia. Awards are given to top male and female finishers, including top 3 overall and top 3 per age group. All registered finishers receive a finisher medal and a custom lined beanie with the event logo. A cup of hot cocoa from Death of the Fox Coffee House is provided at the finish for registered participants. The race supports the HEADstrong Foundation.
The 1 Mile Kids run is non-timed and offered for children (most restrictive age listed is 12 and under); kids receive a finisher medal and beanie, and a non-registered parent may accompany them with volunteers on course. Walkers are welcome in the 5K with registration required. Jogging strollers are permitted; dogs are not permitted. The event is held rain or shine with no refunds or transfers. A professional photographer will provide free downloadable photos about 24-28 hours after the race.
