Elm Creek Backyard Ultra

Elm Creek Backyard Ultra, held at Elm Creek Park Reserve in Maple Grove, Minnesota, is a 4.167-mile loop ultra that repeats hourly until only one runner remains. The course starts and finishes at the Bluebird Picnic area, tracing the south side of the park along the lake trail and Mud Lake, with 296 feet of elevation change. Runners start each loop at the top of the hour; on-course aid is not allowed, but crews may assist between loops.
