Embrace the Pace

Embrace the Pace is an inclusive running event held at Liberty Playground in Independence, Ohio. The inaugural race features a 5K run/walk, a one-mile run/walk/roll, and kids’ races designed for children of all abilities, including those using mobility aids. Participants enjoy chip-timed races, finisher medals, and T-shirts for the 5K and one-mile events.

The event fosters a welcoming atmosphere with an after-race inclusive dance party and free hot dogs. Additional amenities include resource tables, free kinesiology taping, a mobile sensory unit, and accessible facilities.
