Emporia Freedom Fest Run-Ride-Ruck

Emporia Freedom Fest in Emporia, Kansas, is a Veterans Day–themed series of competitive events held annually on the Saturday before Veterans Day. All events start and finish at the All Veterans Memorial (931 S Commercial St). The lineup includes a 5K run/walk (Wagon Wheel Freedom Run/Walk), Freedom Rides for cyclists, a disc golf tournament (Dynamic Discs Freedom Fest Open), Vigilance Martial Arts Norwegian Foot March (ruck), and the Warrior Spur Challenge.

Proceeds support soldier care packages, scholarships, honor flights, and memorial projects. Registration opens July 1, with a virtual window Sept 11–Nov 11 for remote participation. It honors all Veterans and their families. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
