Empower Backyard Ultra

Empower Backyard Ultra is a challenging endurance running event held at Countryside YMCA in Lebanon, Ohio. Scheduled for November 8, 2025, it features a traditional backyard ultra format where runners complete 4.1667-mile loops on scenic, runnable wooded trails with mild elevation changes during the day. At night, the course shifts to a safe, car-free out-and-back route along the Lebanon Bike Path.

The race continues hourly until only one runner remains. New in 2025 are 12-hour and 24-hour backyard options, offering fixed-distance challenges of 50 and 100 miles respectively.
