About the race
Enabled 5K Run/Walk is a community-focused 5K held at Flushing Meadows-Corona Park in Queens, specifically near the Queens Museum and New York City Building in Corona, NY. The event gathers people of all abilities to run, walk, or roll a 5-kilometer course, with a USATF-certified route. Described as more than a race, it's a movement to bridge disabled/adaptive and able-bodied communities through inclusion and unity, with all participants crossing the same finish line.
The package includes finisher medals, T-shirts, a swag bag, prosthetic/running blade raffle entries, live results, and free finish-line photos, among others. Organized by Re'tached, a global non-profit organization. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
