Event details
The half marathon is a loop course that passes through three towns, including Amesbury and South Hampton, crossing the New Hampshire border. Most of the route is on paved, tree-lined roads. The course includes small rolling hills and one steady incline during the first three miles. A 3.5 hour time cap applies to the half marathon. Aid is provided at approximately miles 3.5, 8.5 and 10.5 with water and Gatorade, and there is an on-course bathroom available near mile 4 at the South Hampton Fire Department parking lot.
The 5K is an out-and-back with a turnaround in the Battis Farm parking lot. Timing is provided by Bay State Race Services. Packet pickup is scheduled the day before at Riverside Yoga in Newburyport, and race day registration and pickup are available at the race site. Half marathon entrants receive an Enjoy Your Life windbreaker jacket; 5K entrants receive an Enjoy Your Life tech shirt. All finishers receive a medal and a complimentary beer for those 21 and older. Awards are available for top finishers by overall, age group, non-binary, and strollers; awards are claimed at the race tent. Parking is limited near the site with overflow nearby. Dogs on leash and strollers are allowed but must line up at the back at the start. Races will be held in adverse weather unless conditions are deemed unsafe; if canceled there are no refunds, and organizers will attempt to establish a postponement date.
