Event overview
The Eno River Run is the 14th annual trail running event held on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at Eno River State Park (Fews Ford Access Area), 6101 Cole Mill Road, Durham, NC 27705. The event offers the following distance options:
- 11 miles
- 6 miles
All participants receive custom race swag. Awards are given to the top three overall finishers (male and female) and the top masters finishers (male and female) for both distances. Chip timing is provided by Bull City Running Co. and results are posted on the race website within 24 hours. Post-race refreshments are provided.
Course, support and rules
The course includes technical single-track trail, a river crossing on foot, and a short section of bouldering on rocks near the river. Course maps are available on the race website. Aid stations are located approximately every 3 miles: one aid station for the 6-mile course (around mile 3) and two aid stations for the 11-mile course (around miles 3 and 7). Water, electrolyte gels, and basic first aid supplies are available at aid stations.
This is a cup-free race; participants are expected to carry their own hydration device. Restrooms are available near the parking area and a few porta-johns are at the race start; there are no restrooms on the course. Bag check is available at the start. Unregistered runners, pacers, dogs, and bib transfers are not allowed. Headphones worn inside the ears are prohibited. Participants should maintain a pace of at least 17 minutes per mile.
