Eric Yates Memorial Run

The 15th Annual Eric Yates Memorial Run takes place in Bowling Green, Kentucky, at 9191 Nashville Rd. This event features a 5K run and a 2-mile walk, offering participants options for different fitness levels. Hosted by the WKU Army ROTC department, the run honors 1LT Eric Yates, a WKU graduate and Army officer who lost his life in Afghanistan.

The race supports a scholarship fund established in his memory to assist ROTC cadets with tuition. The event fosters a meaningful atmosphere of remembrance and community support, with all proceeds benefiting the WKU Yates Memorial scholarship.
