Erie Marathon

The Erie Marathon is held at Presque Isle State Park in Erie, Pennsylvania, offering a flat and scenic course with less than 250 feet of elevation change. The marathon features mostly asphalt and concrete surfaces, with options to run on adjacent grass. The event is an all-volunteer race capped at 2,000 participants and is a Boston Marathon qualifier.

Water and lemon-lime Gatorade are available at mile-apart aid stations, each with porta-potties. Parking is at Waldameer Park, requiring a 0.6-mile walk to the start and finish at the Erie Runners Club Beach 1 Pavilion. Spectators must walk from parking and cannot be on roadways.
