About the race
Estrella Mountain Trail Fest is a trail-running event in Goodyear, Arizona, held at Estrella Mountain Regional Park. In 2025 routes were adjusted due to park construction, with all races starting and finishing at the Desert Rose Trail Head behind the Phoenix Raceway. The festival offers four trail distances: the Estrella Half Marathon, Estrella 10K, Estrella 5K, and a 10K/5K Challenge.
Courses traverse the Estrella Mountain range with scenic mountain views; the Half Marathon loops around Coldwater Trail with water stations along the way, and the 5K starts at Desert Rose Trail Head with a hydration point around mile 2.
