Event information
Euchre Bar Massacre takes place on October 11, 2025, near Foresthill, California. The event is free to enter and registration is limited to 50 people total. Registration closes October 10, 2025. The organizer maintains a waiting list; contact the race director to join the list. The event uses a fatass entry format with a requirement that finishers wait at the finish for at least one other runner.

Course and logistics
The course runs along the North Fork of the American River and starts and finishes at Shirttail Creek Campground near Foresthill, CA. The route uses Euchre Bar, Pioneer Mine, Ebeneezer's Highway, Green Valley, Mumford Bar, and Italian Bar. Portions are off trail, with bushwhacking and route finding expected. There is one drop-bag and crew meeting location that runners will pass twice. A group campsite is available for Friday and Saturday night.
Elevation gain is given as roughly 10,000' for the 25 mile and 20,000' for the 50 mile. Distances are described as approximate and may refer to nautical miles. The course map is not published until about a week before the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
