Event details
The EverGreen Pumpkin Run takes place at EverGreen Cemetery, 4535 North Main Street, Jacksonville, FL on Sunday, October 26, 2025. The event includes two distances:
- 10 Mile
- 5K
The 10 Mile is the official Jacksonville Grand Prix event. The 5K provides Jacksonville Grand Prix scoring for the 13-and-under age group. Both courses are USATF certified (10 Mile FL20021JK; 5K FL20020JK). The route runs through oak and magnolia trees and is described as about 90 percent shaded; pumpkins line parts of the courses. All miles and turns will be marked, with digital clocks at most miles.
Race features and logistics
Finisher medals are given to participants in both the 10 Mile and the 5K. Participants receive a long-sleeve technical race shirt. A Halloween costume contest awards a $25 1st Place Sports gift card in three divisions: Scariest, Funniest, and Best Overall. Prize money for the 10 Mile is listed for top three overall finishers and first masters - $200, $150, $100, and $50 for 1st Masters; masters may also place in overall prizes. Age-group awards are presented for multiple male and female age categories; the 5K also includes 10-and-under and 11-13 categories. Parking is available inside and outside the cemetery. After the race, free food and drink will be served and participants may take one pumpkin per person. Packet pickup occurs the Friday and Saturday before the event at selected store locations.
