About the race
The Hiawatha Fall Trail Run takes place in Taft, Montana, offering Marathon, Half Marathon, and 10K distances. The course follows the Route of the Hiawatha, delivering a bucket-list experience as runners traverse scenic trestles, pass waterfalls, and even run through some of the longest railroad tunnels open to foot traffic (about 1.8 miles). Participants receive a finisher shirt, medal, and food, with an optional commemorative hoodie during registration.
Start/Finish and parking are at Taft; note there is no cell service and packet pickup occurs the day before. Great swag and scenic route. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
