About the race
Falling Leaves 8 miler and 5K takes place in Berkey, Ohio, with races through Secor and Wiregrass Metroparks. The event offers two trail races: an 8-mile route (actually about 7.7 miles) and a 5K (about 3.3 miles), starting on the Secor Metropark all-purpose trail. The 8-mile course follows the Moseley Trail to Wiregrass Lake, looping the lake, then returning to the finish at the Secor Room; the 5K is a single long- Secor trail loop.
Both courses are flat and non-technical; walkers are welcome in the 5K. Participation is limited to 250; medals for all finishers; awards for top categories; and it’s part of the Toledo Roadrunners Club Trail Series with raffles and sponsor prizes.
