Event overview

The Farm Park Challenge is a trail race presented by My Muddy Shoes and held at the Agricultural History Farm Park in Montgomery County, Maryland. The next event is scheduled for Saturday, May 2, 2026. Registration and volunteer sign-up are planned for early 2026. Volunteers receive the same event swag as finishers, specifically a shirt and an etched pint glass, and may run the course before or after their shift.

Race formats and rules

The central "Challenge" format requires completing each lap of the course in under one hour. To complete a lap, the entire course must be covered in less than one hour. The event offers three Challenge options that differ by number of laps: a 3-Hour Challenge (three laps), a 6-Hour Challenge (six laps), and a 10-Hour Challenge (ten laps).
