About the race
Feathers 5K Run & Walk is a community-based, family-friendly fundraiser in Brookhaven, Georgia, organized to support the Atlanta Cancer Care Foundation (ACCF). The event gathers participants at Oglethorpe University for a 5-kilometer route that invites runners and walkers to come together in a supportive, feather-themed atmosphere to ease the financial burden of cancer. Proceeds benefit ACCF’s assistance for adults across a 17-county metro Atlanta area; in 2024 ACCF provided over $450,000 to more than 1,600 patients.
