About the race
The Fido Fest 5K and Fun Run, held at Ashley Park in Newnan, Georgia, is a family-friendly event supporting Hearts 'n Homes Rescue. The 5K race features a USATF-certified course and serves as a Peachtree Road Race qualifier, with chip timing provided. A 1-mile Fun Run, ideal for children and dogs, is also offered and is untimed.
New in 2025 is the "Puppy Prance" Tot Trot to kick off the festivities. Well-behaved, vaccinated dogs are welcome, with amenities like water and waste bags available. Post-race, participants can enjoy food trucks, vendors, and entertainment.
