Fido Fest 5K

The Fido Fest 5K and Fun Run is an annual event held at Ashley Park in Newnan, Georgia, supporting Hearts 'n Homes Rescue. The 2025 edition marks its ninth year, featuring a certified 5K race that serves as a Peachtree Road Race qualifier, and a non-timed 1-mile Fun Run ideal for children and dogs. A new "Puppy Prance" Tot Trot kicks off the festivities.

Well-behaved, vaccinated dogs are welcome to participate, with water and waste bags provided. After the races, attendees can enjoy food trucks, vendors, and entertainment. Proceeds benefit the nonprofit dedicated to rescuing at-risk dogs in Coweta County.
