Fiery Gizzard Run

The Fiery Gizzard Run, held at Foster Falls State Park in Tennessee, features challenging half and full marathon trail races on one of the Top 25 Trails in the US. The course offers stunning waterfalls, rock formations, and expansive overlooks, with mostly flat ridgeline running punctuated by steep, technical descents into gorges. Marathon runners complete the trail twice in an out-and-back format, while half marathoners traverse it once.

Aid stations are spaced 6-8 miles apart, so participants must carry sufficient supplies. The event also includes a rucking division, requiring weighted packs.
