Finley 5K

The Finley 5K for SIDS is an annual running event held in Georgetown, Kentucky, with its 13th edition scheduled for August 2, 2025. Participants can join either the in-person 5K run/walk or opt for a virtual race from any location. Established in 2013 in memory of Finley William Ellison, the race supports the Finley Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to funding research on Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).

Over the years, the event has raised more than $300,000 for research at Boston Children's Hospital and Seattle-based institutions.
