Firecracker RUN 406
The Firecracker RUN 406 is a festive 4.06-mile run/walk held annually in Whitefish, Montana, on July 4th. Organized by the same team behind the Whitefish Marathon, the race starts and finishes on the west side of Depot Park near the O'Shaughnessy Center. Participants are encouraged to wear red, white, and blue attire to celebrate Independence Day.
After the race, runners can enjoy refreshments from Jeremiah Johnson Brewing and Tamarack mocktails while attending the Whitefish Arts Festival. Awards are given to podium finishers and age groups, and all finishers receive an official shirt and medal. The event also offers discounted youth and virtual race options. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
