Flaming Foliage Relay
Flaming Foliage Relay is an overnight team endurance relay from Idaho Springs to Buena Vista, Colorado. The 165-mile course traverses single-track trails and roads over Guanella, Georgia, and Fremont Passes, offering sunrises, sunsets, and mountain scenery. Teams compete in formats of ten runners, an Ultra team of 4–5, or a Super Ultra team of 1–3, highlighting the event’s collaborative, life-changing nature beyond a typical race.
The event emphasizes camaraderie, logistics like leg routes (re-routes due to construction), and swag such as Mountain Goat Belt Buckle when paired with Wild West Relay in 2025. Directed by Mandy Mullen and miles.Beyond. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
