About the race
The Flamingo 5K is a beach run/walk held in Sarasota, Florida on Siesta Key Beach, with two options: a 5K and a 1-Mile Frolic. The scenic course offers views along the shore, and participants can flamingle with flamingo-themed swag and a finisher’s medal for all. Proceeds support Breast Cancer Awareness in Sarasota County, celebrating those fighting, surviving, or remembered.
The day features a post-race Flamingo Fiesta with food, music, and awards for all ages. A Virtual Flamingo 5K is also available, along with sponsorship and donation opportunities. The event is produced by My Favorite Race Events. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
