The Fleet Feet Free Thanksgiving Day 5k Fun Run is scheduled for Thursday, November 27, 2025 in San Diego, CA (5980 Village Way, Fleet Feet San Diego, 92130). The event is free to enter. Distances offered:

Registration opens October 30, 2025. The first 175 registrants receive a limited edition 2025 Fleet Feet Thanksgiving Day 5k t-shirt. Extra t-shirts can be purchased online and must be ordered before November 13. T-shirts will be available for pickup on Wednesday, November 26 and on Thanksgiving morning; they will not be available to purchase at the event or in-store.
Course, format and community support
The route is entirely on sidewalk and starts and ends at the Fleet Feet store. Strollers can traverse the course. The event is run in a fun-run format: the route is marked but roads will not be closed, and all participants must follow pedestrian traffic laws. Organizers request donations of canned food for the San Diego Food Bank. The event also supports fundraising for Molly’s Angels Foundation, Monarch Schools, and Vista Hill through a Thanksgiving-week fundraising effort that includes a 350-mile run and a Strava group where each mile contributes to a fundraising goal.
