The Fly with the Eagles Half Marathon takes place on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Southern Illinois Airport Terminal, 665 N. Airport Rd, Murphysboro, IL 62966. The event includes these entries:
- 1/2 Marathon
- Virtual Half Marathon
- Hoodie Only (must pick up at packet pickup)
Entry prices listed in the event information are $50 for the half marathon and virtual half marathon, and $25 for the hoodie-only option. Registration deadlines noted on the event page include a hoodie registration cutoff of January 30, 2026, and virtual registration that ends February 13, 2026. The half marathon price is scheduled to increase after November 13, 2025.
Awards and race services
The race is organized as a cupless event; cups will not be available at aid stations. Volunteers will provide water pitchers to fill bottles. All finishers receive a custom finisher medal. Special awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers. Age-group awards are listed for male and female in these groups: 19 and under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70 and over. Placings are based on gun time. The standard hooded sweatshirt is included for registrations submitted by January 30; there is an option to upgrade to a limited edition full-zip or add an extra hoodie.
