Event overview
The Flying Colors Charity 5K and Fun Run takes place on June 13, 2026, in Lewisville, NC at Forsyth Country Day School, 5501 Shallowford Rd. The event includes both timed and untimed options and a virtual option. Participants are doused with food-based color powder at points along the course. Registered participants receive an event t-shirt that will appear tie-dyed by the end of the run; t-shirts are subject to availability for registrations after 5/15/2026.

Logistics and cause
Registration opens February 21, 2026. Packets for participants registered by 6/1/26 will be available for pickup at Piedmont Advantage Credit Union, Winston-Salem location, lobby (3530 Advantage Way); later pickup options are listed by the organizer. There will be on-site activities such as games, face art, a bubble station, and local food trucks. The event is presented by the PACU Foundation. Proceeds support the foundation’s work in financial literacy, education and training, and disaster and emergency assistance for residents facing financial hardship in the Triad and Charlotte communities.
