Flynn's Beach Run - Event details
Flynn's Beach Run is the 3rd annual running event in Port Aransas, Texas, held along the shores of the Gulf of Mexico. The event location and start/finish are at Horace Caldwell Pier in Port Aransas, TX 78373. Distances offered include:
- 1 Mile Family Fun Run & Walk
- 5 Km
- 10 Km
The event is chip timed and includes a virtual 5K option. Age group awards will be presented. The 5K and 10K races use the following age divisions for awards: 0-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-79, 80+.
Registration, fees and logistics
Participants who register by October 11, 2025 are guaranteed a shirt size. Packet pickup is available Friday, Oct. 24 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Port Aransas Welcome Center (403 W. Cotter Ave., Port Aransas, TX). Day-of registration and packet pickup are available on race day beginning at 7 a.m. Entry fees before race day are listed as: 5K - $25; 10K - $30; 17 & under for 5K or 10K - $20; Family Walk/Run (1 mile) - $20. Late registration or day-of entry has an additional $10 fee. Proceeds will support the Port Aransas Independent School District Cross Country Team and local sustainability efforts.
