Course and facilities
The event is a trail race with single-track sections and varied foothills terrain. The course highlights the Sandia Mountains, foothills high desert landscape, Elena Gallegos Open Space, Cibola National Forest, and views of Albuquerque in the Rio Grande Valley. The race start is near 6,500 feet elevation.
Onsite services include long-sleeve technical race shirts, a large heated area at the staging point, two parking areas, and free shuttle bus service between parking and the race. Participants receive free race photos from Lobo Photo New Mexico.
