For the King 5K

The 5K for the King is a community-focused running and walking event held at Zion Lutheran Church, located at 3401 E River Rd, Mount Pleasant, Michigan. The event features a 5K run/walk and a 1.5-mile walk along a new trail that circles the church's property, including a scenic grass trail around a farm field. Participants in the 5K complete two laps, while the 1.5-mile walkers complete one lap.

The race promotes fellowship and enjoying nature through exercise. After the race and awards, a Brat Fest with free food, beverages, yard games, and a car show takes place near the finish line, creating a festive and welcoming atmosphere for all.
