Organized by Uberendurancesports, Forbidden Run Fest is a trail and gravel running event held in Wissahickon Valley Park. The event offers three distances and is limited to 750 entrants. Bib and swag pickup are available on race day only, starting at 7:30 AM at the Start/Finish area near Houston Playground / Houston Recreational Center, 900 Grakyn Lane, Philadelphia, PA 19128.

Course, aid stations, timing and awards
The entire course stays inside Wissahickon Valley Park and uses the scenic Forbidden Drive. Forbidden Drive is described as 5.45 miles long, 25 feet wide, with a maximum grade of 3% and a smooth gravel surface. Course descriptions note mixes of compacted dirt, gravel on Forbidden Drive, short rocky single-track sections, and a 1/4 mile rocky uphill section known as Mount Misery. The longer distance includes a loop with about 3 miles of rolling single track, 0.5 miles paved bike trail, and 0.5 miles gravel trail.
Aid stations supply water, Gatorade and snacks and are spaced about 2-3 miles apart (10K: one stop; 10 Miler: three stops; 13.1+: four stops). The event is chip timed and live results are posted. All runners receive a commemorative finisher award and a race shirt without advertising; trophies are awarded to top finishers overall and in age groups.
