About the race
Fort Gordon Marine Mud Challenge takes place at Fort Gordon, Georgia. The four-mile off-road course includes more than 30 obstacles, a stream crossing, hills, and plenty of mud. Competitors should wear old clothes and shoes, with a change of clothes advised; pockets can fill and pants may come off.
The event offers competitive and non-competitive waves, and all runners are electronically timed. Proceeds benefit Fort Gordon service members and their families. The race starts near 19th Street and Barnes Avenue, with free parking nearby and on-site wash-down facilities.
Non-DoD visitors have gate-registration requirements; volunteers and spectators are welcome. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
